As Team Lead Business Excellence, you will lead a data-driven, analytically focused team responsible for optimizing operational performance, enhancing system usage, and embedding a culture of controlling excellence and process innovation. This role is at the intersection of operational execution, business analytics, and strategic improvement—ensuring our warehouse, transport and waste collection processes are cost-effective, and future-ready. Therefor it is a dynamic role which in alignment with management determines priority and program setting according to business needs and strategic goals (team works broader across all operational departments on programs, projects, implementations etc).

Your mission is to drive measurable improvements through rigorous performance analysis, structured performance control, and cross-functional collaboration. You will oversee and guide initiatives that enable fact-based decision-making, resource optimization, and operational transparency in a fast-paced foodservice supply chain environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team focused on data analytics, performance controlling, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure operational and cost control through the design and implementation of performance dashboards, cost analysis, and KPI frameworks.
• Analyze transport, warehouse and waste collection operations to identify inefficiencies, cost drivers, and areas for improvement using advanced analytical tools.
• Drive continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile principles, grounded in data validation and performance outcomes.
• Oversee the development, enhancement, and adoption of TMS and WMS systems, ensuring reporting capability and control accuracy.
• Participate in global communities and collaborate with peers to identify, share and implement best practices that enhance operational excellence within HAVI. In alignment with Finance, Operations, and Commercial cooperate on analytical frameworks and reporting structures.
• Lead structured performance reviews, including budget vs actual analysis, cost-to-serve models, and root cause analyses.
• Develop capabilities within the team around business intelligence, forecasting, scenario modelling, and reporting and process automation.
• Promote an organizational mindset that values evidence-based decisions, operational transparency, and continuous learning.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Economics, Engineering, Econometrics, or similar.
• 5-10 years’ experience in supply chain logistics, operations or consultancy
• Skills in data analytics and business controlling; proficiency with Power BI, Excel, SQL, or Python or similar
• Familiarity with operational systems (e.g. TMS/WMS), processes and their reporting capabilities
• Proven track record in performance management, KPI reporting, and operational dashboarding.
• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma or similar; certification preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to translate data insights into clear business action.
• Fluency in English and Dutch.
