Senior Solution Analyst P2P

 

As a Senior Solutions Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our organization’s IT department. You will be responsible for analyzing complex business requirements, designing effective technology solutions, and ensuring their successful implementation. Your expertise in information systems and business processes will be crucial in identifying opportunities for improvement and aligning technology solutions with organizational goals. This role requires a strong blend of technical skills, analytical thinking, and excellent communication abilities.

The Senior Solution Analyst is responsible for working with the Solution Owner and all other Solution Analysts in designing and maintaining the solutions. The Senior Solution Analyst is responsible for supporting the Solution from implementation and maintenance perspective. The Senior Solution Analyst will leverage and use the relevant solution technology to enable new HAVI business capabilities. The Senior Solution Analyst will need to build a strong working knowledge of existing business processes in their respective area including integration aspects (interface design and mappings) with HAVI’ s interfaced system. They will support SaaS related system administration processes such as regular upgrades and process changes. He/ she will need to review, analyze, and evaluate the work of 3rd party service partners and hand over proper specifications to them. He/ she will need to ensure reusability of design for common processes and eliminate custom developments where applicable. He/she will analyze the business-IT environment (run, grow and transform the business) to detect critical deficiencies, and recommend solutions for improvement. Acting as gatekeeper for all solution changes in their area, he/she will translate Business requirements into functional specs and provide estimation when requested. The role will need to document all solution architecture design and analysis work completed. He/she will also be required to oversee software quality assurance testing and validate solutions developed by third parties. The role will include day-to-day collaboration with and design discussions with all market operational, IT and external staff involved in the solutions they are responsible for.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Analyze Business Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders, including business process owners and IT teams, to gather and analyze business requirements, understand workflows, and identify areas for improvement.  Translate future-state business capabilities and requirements into solution requirements end-to-end often cutting across multiple applications and technologies. Inform the requestor of the cost and time estimate.
  • Solution Design: Develop and design effective and innovative solutions that address business challenges, considering technical feasibility, scalability, and compatibility with existing systems and infrastructure.    
  • System Integration: Assess integration requirements and coordinate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new solutions with existing systems and data sources.  
  • Project Management: Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.     
  • Technical Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation including functional specifications, system architecture diagrams, process flows, and user guides to ensure effective knowledge transfer and support for implemented solutions.  
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans, perform system testing, and facilitate user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and reliability of implemented solutions.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate with business users, project teams, and senior management to provide updates, gather feedback, and address concerns throughout the project lifecycle.    
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and functionalities, ensuring smooth adoption and maximum utilization of implemented solutions.      
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to proactively identify opportunities for innovation and process optimization.
  • Driving the overall Product lifecycle management (Concepts through ongoing Run & Maintain) working together with the Solution Architect, the markets, and several internal and external technology teams in matrixed setup.

 

Desired Skills & Experience

 

  • Proven experience in a similar role as a Solutions Analyst, Business Analyst, or related IT position.
  • Proficiency in Procurement and Source to Pay related business processes
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree; e.g., Business Administration, Logistics, Information Technology
  • Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Experience in business process knowledge within one or more of the following Industry Sectors: Logistics, Supply chain management
  • Minimum of three years of experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including architecture and application design / development.
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, systems integration, and project management principles.
  • Experience with the Progress OpenEdge platform and the ABL programming language (both procedural and OO) is a strong plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
  • Excellent analytical and technical skill
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work with developers in an “in-and-out" outsourced environment
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Capable of translating business requirements in functional specs.
  • Team player, with experience in Europe and Asia ideally and in virtual teams
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
