People Systems and Analytics Analyst
The People Systems & Analytics Analyst supports the day-to-day operations of our HR technology,platforms and workforce reporting environment. This role ensures system data is accurate, processes run
smoothly, and HR partners have access to reliable dashboards and insights.Working closely with HR, IT, and People Systems team members, the Analyst helps translate business needs into system enhancements, reporting solutions, and process improvements that enhance the employee experience and support strategic decision-making
Responsibilities
- Assist with the configuration, testing, and documentation of changes across HR systems.
- Troubleshoot aTier 1–2 system issues and partners with senior team members, IT, or vendors for resolution.
- Monitors data quality, system workflows, security permissions, and error logs.
- Maintains process documentation, training materials, and configuration notes.
- Builds, maintains, and distributes recurring reports and dashboards for HR and business stakeholders.
- Conducts data validation checks and ensures reports reflect consistent and accurate information.
- Assists in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting workforce data to support key initiatives, such as talent, DEI, turnover, and workforce planning.
- Supports ad-hoc data requests in a timely and organized manner.
- Performs routine data audits to ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy guidelines.
- Maintains data definitions and supports HR in understanding how data is captured and used.
- Helps investigate data discrepancies and partners with senior analysts or IT to resolve integration or data flow issues
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bechelor's Degree in HR, Information Services, BA or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in HR systems, HRIS reporting/ analytics, HR operations or similar areas
- Comfortable working with data and identifying trends or inconsistencies
- Eager to learn HR systems and how processes connect end-to-end
- Has strong attention to details and poses ability to analyze data for accuracy and inisghts
- Is comfortable working with data and identyfing trends or inconsistencies
- Works effectivily with other teams
- Has strong communication skills
- Experience in supporting HR process accross the employee lifecycle is an asset
- Previous exposure to HR systems such as: SF, Workday, UKG, Oracle or similar is a strong asset
- Has experience in basic project tasks such as testing, documentation, or requirements gathering
- Manages multiple requests and deadlines
- Has basic understanding of Power BI or Tableau
- Knows Ms Excel on intermediate or advanced level, certifications are welcomed
