The Director of Planning Orchestration is responsible for leading the execution of planning services for HAVI Supply Chain customers across European markets, with direct oversight of Control Tower planning resources based in Krakow, Poland. This role ensures the consistent delivery of high-quality planning outputs aligned to defined KPIs, while maintaining effective cost management and budgetary oversight across the regional planning organization. The Director partners across functions to strengthen stakeholder alignment, drive adoption of new services, and lead large-scale process improvements that enhance planning performance and operational efficiency. 

Responsibilities:

  • Defines and evolves the operating model for planning service delivery across European markets, including oversight of Control Tower planning resources based in Krakow, Poland. 

  • Ensures high-quality planning outputs across the full scope of GPA Planning services, with clear KPI alignment, performance management, and structured customer feedback loops. 

  • Provides direct leadership and direction to Control Tower teams in Krakow, ensuring resource alignment, capability development, and consistent service delivery across markets. 

  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across European markets, ensuring alignment to customer needs and business priorities. 

  • Drives standardization, harmonization and automation of planning processes across markets, leveraging subject matter expertise to improve efficiency, scalability, and consistency. 

  • Leads continuous improvement initiatives, embedding best practices and fostering a culture of learning, operational excellence, and innovation within the planning organization. 

  • Collaborates with technology and product teams to design, prioritize, and implement process and system enhancements that improve planning effectiveness and delivery efficiency. 

  • Partners with account management and market Planning Leads to develop and execute strategies that strengthen existing business and support growth in supply chain planning services. 

  • Oversees deployment, change management, and training for new planning services, tools, and processes to ensure successful implementation and sustained adoption. 

  • Contributes to product strategy and innovation by translating insights from customer feedback, operational performance, and market needs into actionable system and tool improvements. 

  • Ensures effective resource planning, capacity management, and budgetary oversight across the European Control Tower planning organization to support delivery and scale. 

Requirements:

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, business, or related field; advanced degree or Lean Six Sigma certification. 

Work Experience 

  • Extensive leadership experience in global supply chain planning, including multi-country operations and centralized/Control Tower delivery models. 

  • Proven track record leading large, complex organizations, including developing people leaders, building high-performing teams, and driving capability advancement. 

  • Significant experience in client-facing roles, managing senior stakeholder relationships and delivering against service expectations. 

  • Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end planning operations (demand, supply, inventory, S&OP/IBP), with accountability for performance, delivery, and outcomes. 

  • Experience designing and leading operating models, including service delivery frameworks, governance structures, and performance management (KPIs, SLAs). 

  • Track record of leading large-scale transformation initiatives, including process standardization, centralization, automation and organizational change. 

  • Experience supporting business growth through service expansion, value creation, and enhanced customer engagement. 

Skills 

  • Strong enterprise leadership and influencing capability across cross-functional teams, including Planning, Product, Technology, and Operations. 

  • Ability to translate customer and business needs into scalable planning solutions and operational strategies. 

  • Advanced capability in resource planning, organizational design, and capacity management within a centralized planning orchestration model. 

  • Strong data and digital acumen, including planning systems, analytics, and technology-enabled process improvement. 

  • Proven ability to drive adoption of new tools, processes, and ways of working at scale. 

  • Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to engage and align senior stakeholders across markets.
