Senior Controlling Specialist
Responsibilities
- Financial controlling for HAVI Service Hub i.e. ensuring accurate and timely delivery of monthly and annual P&L reporting and supporting variance analyses, monitoring costs and revenues of the company, ensuring correctness of bookkeeping and cost allocation, preparing accruals and provisions calculations
- Support in the global recharges process to the entity and alignment with global stakeholders
- Provide functional cost analysis and business reviews to support data-driven decision-making
- Monitors financial liquidity and supports related financial risk management activities
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting, especially in intercompany process domain
- Maintains and contributes to improvements in controlling tools and procedures aimed at an increase of the effectiveness of asset utilization
- Acts as a proactive finance contact for the Finance Manager and key stakeholders, providing analysis and insights
- Reviews cost deviations from budget and forecast and supports variance analysis
- Prepares and contributes to budgets, forecasts, and multi-year plans
- Collaborates effectively within the GBS community (eg. Budget holders, Corporate Controlling, Control Tower, Accounting, Tax, Treasury etc.)
- Monthly P&L reporting and analysis
- Overseeing AP/AR process
- Responsible for revenue process execution and coordination
- Standard functional reporting owner
- Monthly maintenance of financial dashboard
- Performs ad hoc financial analyses requiring judgment within established frameworks
Desired Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in General Ledger, Controlling or a similar finance role.
- Experience in a multinational or shared services environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, CPA) is a plus
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and SAP.
- Good understanding of financial statements, transfer pricing regulations and cost accounting principles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global matrix environment.
- Resilient under pressure and adaptable to change.
- Excellent business partnering skills with proven track of exposure to the top management.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Basic experience in Power BI is a plus.
- ACCA, CIA or CPA financial certifications would be a strong asset
