The Data Governance Lead will accelerate adoption of HAVI Data Governance by turning strategy into practical business routines, stakeholder education and simple ways of working. This role helps business teams understand data ownership, agree decision rights, document critical data and improve maturity step by step.

What you will do

  • Drive adoption of Data Governance across priority business domains such as Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, HR, GBS, Master Data, Technology and Markets.
  • Translate Data Governance strategy into simple routines, checklists, workshops, templates and clear milestones that business teams can use.
  • Educate stakeholders on Data Owner, Data Steward, Data Maintainer and Data Governance team responsibilities in plain business language.
  • Facilitate workshops to clarify data ownership, decision rights, critical data fields, business rules and data quality expectations.
  • Build a simple maturity baseline for selected domains and turn maturity gaps into practical improvement actions.
  • Support creation of a simple data catalogue covering critical fields, definitions, owners, stewards, rules and quality expectations.
  • Prepare and maintain a practical operating model, including role split, escalation path, decision forums and adoption routines.
  • Track delivery through visible milestones, risks, blockers, decisions, owners and expected business outcomes.

What we are looking for

  • Experienced Data Governance practitioner with strong business-facing and change adoption experience.
  • Ability to work in low-maturity environments where ownership, standards and routines are still being shaped.
  • Strong stakeholder influence, facilitation and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of master data, business processes, data quality and regulatory or transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to challenge unclear ownership constructively and create alignment across functions.
  • Practical mindset: able to avoid over-engineered frameworks and focus on business outcomes.
  • Lead and develop a team of Data Stewards.
  • Experience with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, HR, GBS, Master Data or Technology domains is valuable.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Data Management, Information Systems, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Technology or a related field is preferred.

Benefits

  • Opportunity to shape an enterprise Data Governance capability with visible business impact.
  • Diverse and international working environment.
  • Open and collaborative culture with space for practical ideas and ownership.
  • Varied development opportunities and exposure to transformation, regulatory and digital initiatives.
  • Modern work equipment, flexible working model and attractive remuneration package.
