Assistant Key Account Manager

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage new customer onboarding experience across HFM functional teams 

  • Work closely with respective stakeholders, i.e. cross functionally and external suppliers, to meet customer’s KPI

  • Conduct business reviews with customers to ensure positive trends in meeting KPIs  

  • Provide regular update on market development, trend to the customer and proactively proposed action plans  

  • Visit existing customers, assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services and by that, to meet and exceed new business revenue goals

  • Work with Key Account Support to develop pricing model and propose sales prices to Key Account Manager to offer new products and services for existing customer.  

  • Negotiate prices with customer and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets

  • Identify, research and contact prospective customers, build positive relationship and generate future sales and business

  • Create and conduct effective sales proposal presentations and identify customers’ business problems and provide solutions

  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing Manager to ensure alignment with FM strategies in forecasting, business planning & sales pipeline development

  • Ensure accurate records of all sales & prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales and follow-up activities are accurately maintained and submitted in a timely manner

  • Excellent English skills – both verbal and written 

  • Chinese Language is preferred but not necessary desirable 

  • Japanese Language command is preferred  

 

Experience:

  • 4 to 6 years of related sales experience with a 3PL/Freight Forwarding/Logistics company with proven track records 

  • Possess experience in Freight Forwarding operations and management with good knowledge in shipping documents and custom procedures   

 

Qualification:

  • Bachelor degree in Management, Logistics, Distribution or Supply Chain
