We are hiring a Tech Lead -Mobile & Frontend Development

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Tech Lead -Mobile & Frontend Development to join our TechHub!

The Software Development Mobile & Frontend Tech Lead will act as a team main reference point for our mobile-centric solutions covering both applications and their web back offices. A typical day of such person will include analysis of business needs, proposal of technical design and architecture alignment with company standards, software development and deployment of mobile & web apps, features and enhancements as well as close engagement with customers.

This person is expected to be capable of navigating through production level processes in mobile-centric solutions spanning both applications on devices and web-based back offices required to operate them.

This person should be experienced with at least one of the mobile native platforms (either iOS/Swift or Android/Kotlin) with a willingness to learn the other. Both platform skills or cross platform experience are a welcome addition.

Besides mobile skills, this person should have a good understanding of a wider software context. Highly anticipated are especially web Front-End skills (React preferred) so this person can be prepared to overview full customer experience spanning across multiple platforms.

Full stack experience or familiarity with building blocks of REST API’s (C#/.NET) and SQL databases will help this person to understand Solution Architecture level challenges and solve them with a wide array of possible approaches.

This Tech Leader will coach and guide our software engineers – providing relevant and constructive input on development and deployment tasks. They will also collaborate closely with our customer platform operations team, ensuring a smooth handover of production solutions to our operations team. This person will lead the ongoing review of code, documentation, and knowledge sharing sessions with the operations team.

This person understands customers priorities and is able to lead the technical recommendations to the Software Engineering Manager. The role will include day-to-day collaboration and design discussions with business stakeholders as with our strategic software partners.

THE SKILLS

To set you up for success in this role, here are some key skills that will help you:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Science and Technology

Minimum of five years’ experience in mobile oriented or FE/Full-stack software development role

Proven experience as a Software Engineer in a leadership role.

Proficient in Mobile development (One or both platforms with native code Android/Kotlin and iOS/Swift),

Proficient with Frontend web skills (React preferred)

Familiarity with development tools like Android Studio, XCode, VSCode

Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating them into applications.

Strong experience in software design principles, user interfaces, and user experience best practices.

Preference to work in an agile development environment and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Fluent in English
