We are hiring a  Site Reliability Engineering Lead 

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineering Lead to join our TechHUB in Lisbon!

The SRE Lead is responsible for defining and leading the enterprise Site Reliability Engineering capability across global regions. The role ensures that services are reliable, observable, scalable, and continuously improving in alignment with business objectives.

The SRE Lead will establish SLO/SLI standards, error budget governance, reliability engineering practices, and automation frameworks across platforms and services. The role operates in a follow-the-sun engineering model between Portugal and Malaysia, ensuring global reliability oversight without operating as a 24/7 reactive support function.

The governance processes and reliability standards are subject to continuous evolution as services mature. The SRE Lead is expected to drive improvement, adapt reliability practices, and elevate engineering standards across the organization.

THE SKILLS

To set you up for success in this role, here are some key skills that will help you:

• 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
• 5+ years in reliability engineering, SRE, or senior infrastructure roles
• Experience defining SLO frameworks at enterprise scale
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering initiatives
• Proven experience in major incident leadership and systemic reliability improvement
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, strategic, and organizational capabilities
• Demonstrated leadership and team development experience
