We are hiring a  Senior DeveOps Engineer 

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a XXX to join our TechHUB in Lisbon!

The Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineer will play a key role in designing, implementing, and evolving a production-grade cloud platform built on Microsoft Azure.

This role is responsible for translating technical and business requirements into scalable, secure, and automated cloud solutions, ensuring reliability, performance, and cost efficiency across environments.

He/She will bring strong hands-on experience supporting and operating Azure-based platforms, with deep involvement in infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and Kubernetes workloads.

Working closely with software engineering and operations teams, he/she will contribute to architectural decisions, improve deployment practices, and help strengthen the overall maturity of our cloud and DevOps ecosystem.

THE SKILLS

To set you up for success in this role, here are some key skills that will help you:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Science and Technology. 
• Strong EQ (emotional intelligence) - highly collaborative with both tech and business stakeholders.
• Proven experience in Software Architecture and DevOps Engineering in Azure.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Platform, Cloud, or DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing Azure services, including but not limited to infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, identity/authentication/authorization, monitoring, alerting, and reporting services. 
• Proficient in security best practices and frameworks.
• Proficiency in security architecture topics like single sign-on, federation, identity, disaster recovery architecture, etc.
• Familiarity with development tools like VS Code and version control systems like Azure DevOps or Git.
• Solid experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration, preferably on Azure Kubernetes Service.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, TLS, private connectivity).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating them into applications.
• Preference to work in an agile development environment and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
