We are hiring a  SAP SD Senior Functional Analyst 

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a SAP SD Senior Functional Analyst to join our TechHUB in Lisbon!

• Works closely with the SAP O2C Solution Analyst and SAP O2C Senior Solution Analyst to translate approved business requirements into SAP SD functional designs and system configuration.
• Performs hands-on SAP SD configuration and maintenance across the Order-to-Cash scope (e.g., sales order processing, pricing, billing, output/message determination, partner determination, credit/debit processes, returns/claims as applicable), following defined standards and best practices.
• Supports incidents analysis when applicable and analyzes change requests, reproduces issues, conducts root-cause analysis, and proposes/implements solutions (configuration changes or functional specifications for development).
• Supports end-to-end process validation including unit testing, SIT support, and UAT support; prepares test cases, executes tests, triages defects, and coordinates re-testing with delivery partners.
• Contributes to integration readiness by identifying upstream/downstream impacts for SD (interfaces, master data dependencies, billing-to-FI postings, reporting needs) and collaborating with technical/integration teams as needed.
• Maintains high-quality documentation (configuration notes, functional specifications, test evidence, user guides, and training materials) to enable effective knowledge transfer and support.
• Supports release and deployment activities by preparing cutover inputs and ensuring configuration transport readiness in line with release management processes.
• Participates in continuous improvement activities: identifies standardization opportunities, reduces manual effort, and improves controls and data quality across O2C processes.
• Stays updated on SAP SD best practices and emerging SAP capabilities; actively shares knowledge within the O2C team.

THE SKILLS

To set you up for success in this role, here are some key skills that will help you:

• 3–5 years of experience as an SAP SD Functional Analyst/Consultant (or similar role) with hands-on configuration and support responsibilities.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP SD processes within the Order-to-Cash (O2C) value stream and key integration points (FI billing postings, master data, interfaces).
• Experience translating business requirements into functional configuration, functional specifications, and test scenarios.
• Proven experience supporting testing cycles (unit/SIT/UAT), defect management, and go-live readiness.
• Ability to work effectively with outsourced delivery teams (in-and-out model) and internal stakeholders in a matrix environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate clearly with both technical and business audiences.
• Good planning and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in Logistics / Supply Chain environments is a plus.
• Fluent in English.
