We are hiring a  Platform Engineer Tech Lead 

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Platform Engineer Tech Lead to join our TechHUB in Lisbon!

The Platform Engineering Tech Lead will play a key role in evolving and operating the company’s customer platform built on Microsoft Azure.

This role combines platform architecture, cloud engineering, and technical leadership to ensure the platform remains scalable, secure, and aligned with business priorities.

The Tech Lead will translate business and technical requirements into platform capabilities and improvements, while guiding engineering teams in development, testing, and deployment practices.

Working closely with software engineering, architecture, and operations teams, this role ensures that platform standards, DevOps practices, and cloud-native principles are consistently applied across the organization.

THE SKILLS

To set you up for success in this role, here are some key skills that will help you:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Science and Technology.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Software Architecture roles.
• Strong experience designing and operating cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure.
• Experience in defining and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform or Bicep.
• Experience supporting containerized workloads and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes (preferably Azure Kubernetes Service).
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture topics, including networking, identity management, security, and disaster recovery.
• Familiarity with software development practices and integration patterns such as RESTful APIs.
• Experience collaborating with software development teams and supporting development lifecycle processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to work in agile environments and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Fluent in English
