ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Solution Analyst - Planning to join our TechHUB in Kuala Lumpur!

The Solution Analyst - Planning will analyze the solution landscape supporting our business organizations with the aim to identify and recommend solutions for improvement to help our business run effectively, transform and grow.
The Solution Analyst - Planning will closely work with 3rd party service partners (mainly supporting development, testing and support tasks). This requires preparation and hand-over of functional and technical specifications to them as well as review and evaluation of their deliverables (development results, test results etc.). In this regard the Solution Analyst must ensure to follow best practices and design patterns used for existing processes while avoiding custom solution designs wherever possible.
The role will include day-to-day collaboration and design discussions with the Global Planning and Analytics (GPA) organization, IT staff and with staff from all partners involved in the solution.

 THE SKILLS

To set you up for success in this role, here are some key skills that will help you:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Science and Technology
• Minimum of five years of experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including architecture and application design/development.
• Proven experience as a Solution Analyst or in a similar role within the Supply Chain Management domain.
• Proficiency in analyzing complex business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
• Proven knowledge and practical experience of agile methods and processes, and capability of supporting agile project teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact, and risks.
• Strong knowledge of Data engineering concepts including Data Integration, Data Architecture, Data modelling
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and to propose innovative solutions.
• Ability to work independently and deliver multiple projects and support activities with minimal supervision.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Strong oral & written communication skills
• Fluent in English
• Team player with experience working in global environments and distributed teams across multiple time zones
• Basic Oracle database and PL/SQL skills (being able to read PL/SQL source code)
• Willingness to develop oneself and strong ability to learn fast
• Proactive mindset
• Strong relationship building skills
