ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a SAP FI& CO Functional Analyst to join our TechHUB in Kuala Lumpur!

In this role, you will support the SAP Enterprise Finance Solutions value stream by helping maintain the functional template, contributing to the design and development of new solutions, and ensuring that changes, projects, enhancements, and fixes are delivered in line with SAP Activate Methodology and industry best practices.

You will configure the SAP FI and CO modules to meet organizational needs — covering General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Profitability Analysis — while working closely with business stakeholders to support and improve financial and controlling processes, and ensuring smooth integration with other modules such as MM and SD.

At the mid-level, you will contribute to functional solution design, follow established standards and best practices, support the quality of SAP Finance solution delivery, and play an active role in continuous improvement — staying current with SAP S/4HANA developments and emerging technologies that enhance core finance processes.

The ideal candidate brings 5 years of hands-on SAP FI/CO experience, working knowledge of S/4HANA, good stakeholder communication skills, and exposure to full-cycle SAP implementations.

THE SKILLS

To set you up for success in this role, here are some key skills that will help you:

3–5 years of experience as an SAP FI/CO Functional Analyst/Consultant (or similar role) with hands-on configuration and support responsibilities.

Strong functional knowledge of SAP FI and CO processes, including end-to-end R2R understanding and key integration points (logistics postings, master data, reporting).

Experience translating business requirements into functional configuration, functional specifications, and test scenarios.

Proven experience supporting testing cycles (unit/SIT/UAT), defect management, and go-live readiness.
Ability to work effectively with outsourced delivery teams (in-and-out model) and internal stakeholders in a matrix environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate clearly with both technical and business audiences.
Good planning and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in Logistics / Supply Chain environments is a plus.
Fluent in English.
