ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a SAP FI& CO Senior Functional Analyst to join our TechHUB in Kuala Lumpur!

In this role, you will be the responsible value stream lead for SAP Enterprise Finance Solutions, maintaining the functional template, supporting the business in designing and developing new solutions, and ensuring that all changes, projects, enhancements, and fixes are applied according to SAP Activate Methodology and industry best practices.

You will configure the SAP FI and CO modules to meet organizational needs — covering General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Profitability Analysis — while working closely with business stakeholders to optimize financial and controlling processes, and ensuring seamless integration with other modules such as MM and SD.

At the senior level, you will drive end-to-end functional solution design, establish standards and best practices, govern the quality of SAP Finance solution delivery, and act as an important agent for change and innovation — staying current with SAP S/4HANA advancements and emerging technologies that drive efficiency across core finance processes.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of hands-on SAP FI/CO experience, deep S/4HANA knowledge, strong stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of leading full-cycle implementations.

THE SKILLS

To set you up for success in this role, here are some key skills that will help you:

7+ years of experience as an SAP FI/CO Functional Analyst/Consultant (or similar role) with hands-on configuration and support responsibilities.

Strong functional knowledge of SAP FI and CO processes, including end-to-end R2R understanding and key integration points (logistics postings, master data, reporting).

Experience translating business requirements into functional configuration, functional specifications, and test scenarios.

Proven experience supporting testing cycles (unit/SIT/UAT), defect management, and go-live readiness.

Ability to work effectively with outsourced delivery teams (in-and-out model) and internal stakeholders in a matrix environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate clearly with both technical and business audiences.

Good planning and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in Logistics / Supply Chain environments is a plus.
