Specialist FP&A

 

The Specialist FP&A acts as a finance business partner for HAVI Global Planning & Analytics activities, providing financial leadership focused on our European activities within the category.

The role will be engaged in monthly close and reporting, maintain strong financial controls, and partner with line managers and across functions and markets to understand the financial impacts of operational activities and decisions of the category. 

The position combines controlling expertise with business partnering skills and the ability to work independently with stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Participate in monthly close activities including preparing journal entries, reviewing accounts, and assisting in preparation of balance sheet reconciliations. 
  • Generate monthly reports, perform analysis and review of results for assigned business areas and present findings to assigned business area.
  • Prepare schedules and reports according to the monthly close deadlines
  • Manage intercompany invoicing and alignment related to the category
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
  • Suggest process improvements to ensure better visibility to key data and increased efficiency for repeatable activities 
  • Support internal and external audits related to assigned service line

 

Desired Skills & Experience

 

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of controlling/finance experience in an international environment
  • Experience working with advanced reporting, automation, or AI supported finance solutions is advantageous
  • Expertise in SAP FI and CO
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
  • University degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel
  • Solid understanding of Business Intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI
  • Ability to understand and apply AI enabled analytics and automation concepts within Finance and Controlling
  • Communication and presentation skills, including facilitation of cross functional stakeholder discussions
  • Collaboration skills with the ability to influence across functions without direct authority
  • High degree of autonomy, structured working style, and ability to manage complexity
  • Fluent English, written and spoken
  • Experience in process automation or improvements (desirable)
  • Experience with planning and analytics tools such as Essbase or comparable platforms (desirable)
