Global Senior Specialist FP&A

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Proactive Business Partner to our Global Senior Technology Management by providing meaningful, understandable, and accurate financial insights to assist in decision-making
  • Managing all relevant Controlling activities (e.g. planning, budgeting, reporting, forecasting, month end closing, and Product P&L’s analytics) in your areas of responsibility.
  • Manage business review meetings with Leadership on variances of actuals to budget, presentation of results, provide guidance, challenge plans, offer and follow up on corrective solutions and actions
  • Coordinate the business case process for investment decisions and support the Leadership by providing strong financial guidance
  • Drive innovations and continuous improvements to further digitalize our controlling processes and instruments
  • Build close relationships and proactive communication with key stakeholders in Markets, Finance/Controlling and Central IT/Technology on our global Shared Service Catalogue approach 
  • Support cross-functional projects and initiatives e.g. strategic Controlling Roadmap topics

Requirements
 

  • Master’s degree, preferably in Controlling, business informatics, finance or similar subjects
  • Minimum of 10 years of proven track record in managing FP&A and controlling processes with high demand on business partnering, preferably in a multinational company and/or Global IT/Technology organization with P&L responsibility
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to narrate complex issues in an understandable way
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset with the ability to transfer data into actionable insights
  • Passion to challenge the status quo and strive to innovate systems, processes & solutions
  • Teamplayer with strong relationship-building and influencing skills able to interact across hierarchies, functions, and cultures
  • Proactive mindset, independent and structured, able to set priorities
  • Deep US-GAAP and German GAAP expertise
  • Professional experience with SAP (FI/CO), Excel and PowerPoint, very good Power BI, QlikView or comparable BI tools knowledge is an advantage
  • Very good English skills
