Finance Team Leader, Accounts Payable

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Drive and coordinate AP processes across several countries during the role-in phase
  • Accountable for timely and correct execution of ongoing transactions of respective Accounts Payables (sub-)process according to SLA
  • Lead team members to ensure staff performance, motivation and development
  • Monitor ongoing execution of (sub-)process in accordance with global process design
  • Support the overall process design and the management of change requests
  • Accountable that Service Level Agreements are met
  • Manage resolution process of issues raised within Accounts Payables (sub-)process area and align topics with relevant stakeholders
  • Manage the integration process of additional countries
  • Manage functional on-boarding, training and development of team members
  • Support and manage identification and implementation of continuous improvement measures

 

Desired Skills & Experience

 

  • Over 6 years’ experience in an Accounts Payables area, including 1-2 years of experience on a Team Leader position
  • Very good knowledge of AP processes
  • Native, bilingual or at least C1 level of English 
  • Academic degree
  • US GAAP and Polish Accountancy knowledge (required)
  • Very good knowledge of SAP ERP and MS Office applications, especially Excel
  • Experience in managing teams & individuals with different backgrounds
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, ability to work under time pressure
  • Strong interpersonal skills including empathy, teamwork, facilitation, persuasion and communication
