To strengthen our financial leadership across Northern Europe, we are seeking a strategic and collaborative Cluster Finance Director. This key leadership role covers six markets: Sweden, Norway, Finland, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Denmark—and is central to shaping financial direction, enabling performance, and supporting strong business partnerships across the cluster. In addition, you will serve as Finance Manager for Denmark and also play a key role in HAVI's customer partnerships in North Europe

About the Role

As Cluster Finance Director, you will lead the financial strategy and agenda across all markets in the cluster. You will partner with Finance Managers to ensure alignment, knowledge-sharing, and consistency across countries. You will shape a strong financial strategy that supports growth, profitability, and long-term stability. Close collaboration with markets and global headquarters will be essential. You will oversee strategic financial activities and management reporting to ensure timely, accurate insights. Finally, you will champion cost management and continuous improvement to deliver efficient, cost-effective operations.

In Denmark, HQ located in DC Vejle, you will lead a highly skilled and established Finance team that manages day‑to‑day operations with professionalism and reliability, enabling you to focus on strategic leadership, partnership, and future‑oriented initiatives. You will act as the financial sparring partner for the managing director of the company, and you are a part of the local leadership team, ensuring robust reporting, compliance & governance, and financial insights that support strategic decision‑making.

As a key business partner, you will deliver commercial insights to boost customer profitability and turn around underperforming accounts. You will manage relationships with major external partners, including McDonald’s and other Customers, developing business cases that drive value. 

You can expect a 50/50 split on Cluster (North Europe) role vs Local (Denmark), requesting 20-30% of travel time. Solid controlling, accounting, and finance leadership background is essential to succeed in the role.

What You Will Be Doing

You will provide leadership to the Finance team across the six markets, creating a strong and cohesive finance community within the cluster. A key part of your work will be supporting their development, aligning financial processes across countries, and ensuring that best practices and standards are consistently applied.

You will oversee financial planning and performance management across the cluster, including strategic planning, budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial reviews, driving variance analysis and corrective action where needed. You will ensure that accounting and statutory requirements are fulfilled in each country, that audits run smoothly, and that US-GAAP reporting to HQ is accurate and timely.

Compliance and risk management will remain fundamental, ensuring HAVI’s policies and local regulations are followed, and safeguarding HAVI’s assets and financial integrity across the cluster.

In Denmark, your leadership will focus on guiding and empowering the local finance team, ensuring they have the tools, capabilities, and direction needed to continue delivering high‑quality financial support and reporting. As a trusted business partner, you will collaborate closely with cluster and local management teams, translating financial information into meaningful insights and recommendations. You will contribute to strategic discussions, prepare financial models and business cases when needed, and play an active role in cluster and global finance meetings, leadership sessions, and customer dialogues.

Finally, you will coordinate and support key financial and strategic projects across market-driving improvement, strengthening collaboration, and identifying opportunities for further efficiency and value creation.

Your Stakeholders

You will work closely with the Cluster Lead (VP), HQ and GBS teams, Group FP&A, local Managing Directors, and the country Finance Managers. You will collaborate with colleagues across Operations, HR, IT, Admin, and with customer key account teams. Externally, you will interact with customers’ finance representatives, auditors, advisors, authorities, and banking partners.

What You Bring

This is a position for a financial leader who thrives in an international context, enjoys developing people and teams, and can balance strategic thinking with solid financial governance. Solid controlling, accounting, and finance leadership background is essential to succeed in the role.

You are an experienced finance leader with strong people‑leadership skills and the ability to inspire, align, and develop teams across multiple countries. You communicate clearly, build trust, and are comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels in finding the right solutions. You can sometimes make difficult decisions in light of HAVI’s overall performance and results, and are able to create the right level of understanding. You combine a strategic mindset with a solid foundation in financial governance, compliance, and performance management.

You hold a relevant financial degree, and ideally a professional certification such as an MBA or similar. You bring at least 10 years of experience in finance or accounting, including several years in a leadership role, and have experience working in international or multi‑market environments. Knowledge of the Danish language is a plus.
