We are hiring a  Data Scientist 

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our TechHub!

You will be responsible to develop and operationalise predictive/optimisation models that improve supply-chain outcomes (e.g., demand/ETA forecasting, exception prioritisation, cost-to-serve, inventory optimisation). Work from certified domain data products and partner with the Security, Intelligent Automation & AI COE team to deploy models (batch/real-time and RAG-assisted workflows). Embed insights into Intelligent Automation pods and BI to drive measurable value.

THE SKILLS

To set you up for success in this role, here are some key skills that will help you:

• Bachelor’s in Data Science/Statistics/Applied Mathematics/Computer Science/Operations Research or related field.
• Certifications: Cloud ML (AWS/GCP/Azure), MLflow/MLOps, experimentation/causal inference coursework; optional dbt Fundamentals.
• 4–8+ years applied DS experience delivering models used in production with clear business impact.
• Strong in Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn; plus one of XGBoost/LightGBM/PyTorch).
• Demonstrated feature engineering on warehouse/lakehouse data (Snowflake/BigQuery/Databricks) and partnership with Analytics Engineering.
• Comfortable with experimentation (A/B, quasi-experiments), evaluation (regression/forecast/classification metrics), and model risk documentation.
• Familiarity with RAG/LLM evaluation and safety basics (you consume market LLMs; no custom LLM training).
• Supply-chain exposure (orders, shipments, lanes, OTIF, dwell time, inventory) is a plus.
• Fluency in English.
